SEAC YMG - May Virtual Game Night/Happy Hour

Let's do another happy hour!

It was great to see our fellow engineers and share success stories and struggles from remote work stations across Colorado during the first month of quarantine. As some people start to trickle back in to the office environment and others continue to work from home, this is an opportunity to share quarantine take-aways, new habits that have developed and discuss how we think this experience will change our industry. Or we can just play games. It's your call!

Join us on Zoom next Wednesday, May 6th, starting at 7pm to catch up, share ideas/experiences and have some fun playing Quiplash.

Please RSVP by end of day Tuesday, May 5th. A rough head-count will help us decide if we want to play as one big group or use the Zoom "break-out room" feature to play in smaller groups so more people can submit responses. Please feel free to share this invite with your A/E/C colleagues.

Game Description

Quiplash is a “Cards Against Humanity” or "Apples to Apples" style game that allows participants to make up their own responses to prompts generated by the game. There are no rules or correct answers. You just say whatever you want! Your answer will be pitted against another player’s answer in a head-to-head battle. Other players – and even an audience of up to 10,000 people – then vote on their favorite answer. It’s that simple. And yes, you read that right: while the game is for 3-8 players, it supports up to 10,000 active participants in the Audience, all of whom have the ability to affect the vote! More than 8 people at your party? Nobody has to sit out.

System Requirements

Laptop, smart phone or tablet with internet to submit answers to prompts and to vote on winning responses
Laptop, smart phone or tablet connected to Zoom meeting (preferably a separate device with a webcam) to interact with others playing the game
